Head Boy's Basketball Coach

Coach Cordonnier is a Russia High School graduate. The Cleveland Indians drafted him out of high school. He played three years on their Class A farm team in Florida. He is currently the owner/operator of three Kwik-N-Kold's in Piqua.

He is entering his 21st season coaching basketball, 18th season coaching varsity girls. As a varsity coach, he has posted 242 wins and 150 losses.

Don and wife Barb reside in Russia. They have three grown children, three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Basketball Shirt Fundraiser
The Girls Basketball Team will be selling t-shirts for $10 and long sleeve shirts for $20. Neither one specifies boys or girls, just a Basketball or Basketball hoop with the words Sidney or Yellow Jackets. The short sleeve black t-shirt is running true to size, however, the long sleeve t-shirt is running two (2) sizes smaller than normal. I have a limited number of the long sleeve due to this problem, but can special order. The decal can be purchased as is for $10 or if the parents on either boys or girls want to include a name and jersey number the price is $12. The JV Lady Jackets beat Northmont 56-47 in the opening game.
